tachles
An Academic Journal for emerging Scholars
Tachles [pronunciation: takhles] is an academic journal on Jewish history and culture. It is dedicated, but not limited
to, topics such as Jewish life in the Netherlands, social aspects, history, literature and theater, Yiddish, the
Holocaust, and contemporary Judaism. This double-blind peer reviewed journal is meant for emerging scholars: Undergraduate, graduate and PhD students.
The goal of Tachles is twofold. First, enriching the scholarly debate about Jewish Netherlands. Second, encouraging young researchers to publish their work.
